no gig this weekend, had to cancel the 3 dog in ennis, we got wedding bells again, my good buddy wayne is taking the plunge on saturday night, congrats to you guys

and on a sad note,

farewell to old eric, he's gona try the 9 to 5 with out the late nights for awhile, he's been with me a couple of years now, and he's one hell of a picker, i hate to lose him, he's put some signature licks all over my tunes, and i hope he finds his way to the stage again someday, cause the dude has for sure got the talent....the lord blessed him with it, and i think it would be ashame for the people who love music, be deprived of his skill, best of luck to him, maybe i can talk him in to setting in and cutting up with us on occasion

enter john "ballgame" pittman, he's the new slinger, he spent the 90's rockin out with lp in a bad ass rock band called paul's interview, (they opened for candle box once) it's gonna be fun, he's got a marshall stack, and a bur head, and a shit eating grin, and 2 little boys, we can swap little boy stories

speaking of, lp stopped by the house this evening, abe taylor seen him and then ran to his momma, wouldn't say a word....after lp left, abe walks around the house for next hour saying by-by lane, by-by lane
