well we survived a rough weekend, played with the mmb at t-bones friday night, and mcclure got off with another one of my capos, i think that's the 3rd time, saturday might have been the most fun, we played to a very small crowd, the smallest we ever had at dillions, but i must say i think the m.o.b. was hittin on all six, and then yesterday i got a chance to watch some other bands, as we played a benefit at the elks lodge, and it still amazes me at the number of kick ass bands we have right here in the area, it's gotta be like some kinda little mineture place where kick ass bands come from..i dont know

i must say hell yea to my buddy kyle harris for runnin sound for us, i sure hope he's abel to hit the road with us more often, take some load off rodrick, so he can work on some more of those inpersonations

and thanks to my buddy todd ross, he slapped on the bass for us yesterday (he is also wayne's little bro) and he done a fine job, lp is on vacation this week, drivin all over the south

so here's the deal, thursady night me and rodrik will be in sherman at a place called diggers, friday night me and rodrick and the shad bear (as abe taylor calls him) will be at dillions, and sunday me and rodrick will be 2piece action at love & war shiner sunday @4 pm live on the range 95.3 so you can tune in if you want,

i'm now wireless, i've been off line for a few days, i got rid of the slow ass dial up, and i'm haulin ass on wireless now, i cant get off the youtube stuff, i know it's old to everybody, but you see i've never had this speed before, so it's all new to me...ok so what else....the gig in denton on saturday night got axed, no fear though we emergency booked in at dillions, but tomorrow night is still on and gonna be killer, t-bones with mmb,


now i must fill you in on my boy hook, he took a job in garden city kansas, he left town on sunday, to report to work at 6am on monday, but 20 miles south of okc he blew a head gasket, in the rodeo he just bought 2 days before, local mecanic, best in town i might add, said it could be a couple of days, so hook grabs his guitar and a 5th of black velvet and checks into a motel, heard to many gun shots that night, so he checked into a different one the next night, where he had a 6 pack of budwiser tallboys, and he broke his a string, i'm glad to report today he made it to garden city and the work is on, he will be gone about 3 months, and sure who ever he's roomin with will never forget old hook....i know i wont

i'm chillin in the motel in duncan oklahoma, wating on the boys to wake the hell up, that's cool, i probably just go to sleep when they wake up, i sit out back (well it was really the side) of the motel last night (well really this morning, till about 4 someting) talking with some old high school buddies of mine, brain lester and brain weatherford, they came down from okc, sure had a good time with those guys, me and lester go back about 20 years, the gig was cool last night, always is in this town, it's never failed to meet some good folks that dig our stuff around here, and we always move some merch here,we will be headin back down to texas in a few hours to play a cool little biker bar called the office, it's in wichita falls, then we will suck it up and come on in, actually the old man will suck it up and bring us on in,i wrote a goofy song in the room this morning, rod does the best bill murray inpersonation (from caddyshack) next time you see him ask him to do it, i miss casey cainan and his stories, net time you see him ask him to tell you that one about the mexican and the big bird,well i guess i better split, there's an older couple here in the lobby lookin at me like i'm hoggin the computer or something, see yamo
