i love getting turned on to new music, it's like getting slapped in the face, where you been boy,

mr. blair has came to my pad, and left me with the collection of Blaze Foley, dude is killer, folk to the bone, great thinking music, if you like to think...i think

me and shad played in the snow, in bridgeport last night, sweet willie payne's house, and all the hardcore chilli folks were there, a big fire pit, a gas heater on stage and the majic of two acoustic guitars, we had a good time, and thank you rachel for driving us home, me and shad had a little rebel yell to keep warm, and should not drive on that stuff

friday night i had a few folks over to the house for a little pickin party, rod helped me finish this tune i been workin on for awhile, it's sure to blow the country music charts to simithereens, make us big stars, and i'll grow lots of long floppy hair, and you'll get so tired of hearing it and seeing me,

peace, and happy easter,

it's been a crazy week, the hardest i think the band has ever been through, we lost one of our good friends, charlie caffey, if you have been to one of our shows the last couple of years, chances are you might have seen him, had a drink with him, shared a laugh with him, or bought a t-shirt from him, he went on the road with us from time to time.

i met charlie about 10 or 11 years ago, the sun was shining and the sky was blue, i was living with jack marvin hoskins, (better known as "fella", because he had 2 older sisters, and when he was born his dad, jack sr. called him his little fella, and it stuck, which now that i think about it, everytime fella meets somebody he always give them a nickname...immedeatly, mine was squeely, which has now been shortened to squil, i don't know why, but that's what's cool about fella's nickname's for people, you wonder where the hell he came up with them) any way, iwas sitting on fella's old nasty grey sectional couch, the one with all the cigerette holes in it, and through the door walked charlie,

charlie was one of those guys that's always havig fun, gave the best hugs, everytime i seen him, it was a big ol bear hug, and he always called me squill, there's only a few people left that still call me that,

seems like all the good ones leave to soon, way to soon,

tell somebody you love'em, and i hope you have a good weekend, my buddy shad blair is on his way to my house, so things are lookin up from here

adios
