played up in durant last thursday night, had us a very small crowd, but i think almost all of them in attendance bought a cd, and then a nice precentage of those folks came to t-bones on saturday night to watch us again, that is one thing that is cool about this gigin all these different bars, meeting some good folks, yea i do meet some wierdos, and some assholes, but when i meet the good folks, it makes everything ok

got a busy week, me and zac jones will be at the windstar casino on tuesday night playing a little solo song swap, then i will either double my take on the blackjack table or, i will give the bread right back to'em, got my mind made up

then wenesday, me and wesely joe will be blowing the roof off of dillions, then this weekend me and the boys will be up in oklahoma again, a cool bar called wall street, it's in duncan oklahoma, then the next day we head down to whichata falls, to bar called the office, then i must get back home before 2 on sunday, abe taylor will be 2, and we gonna have a party

been playing lots of gigs the last few weeks, some far away, some close to home, all the boys in the band are doing just fine, the gigs have been fun, rod is getting the pa honed in tight, took him a few weeks, and me and the other two sound generals gave him lots of support, i usually shake my head and say "come on rod you can do it" lane just sits on his amp and takes big drags off a cig., and wayne just says "i need more kick in the monitor"

rod is the shit, road weathered veteran, honored to have him,

soul shine is in the top 10 on radio free this week, i'm gonna see if i can put my people on that too,

i have been neck deep in the drive by truckers the last few weeks, if you dig raw music with no mainstream shine, i highly recomend these cats

i was oh so glad to take my jacket off at work today...nice weather for a badly needed change
