i found the circus guy,

he's in baton rouge, hangin with some wild tigers,

last week was a busy one, i played with zac jones (from level rout) on tuesday night, we were in gainsville, rough little joint, i almost got beat up by an old lady because i didnt play country music, after i told her that i did, and it didnt help the matter any when my buddy ship kept buying her jeagerbombs....luckly we made it out,

friday i had another acoustic gig, this one was with tracy nicole, she had a bag full good tunes, but that crowd? i forgot how loud and crazy young college kids are, i was not prepared.....but please come on back, this saturday night, cause i will have some back, and we will get louder than sigma sigma si so se, (saturday night, the mob @ the rail in commerce)

last saturday, we jammed to a small, but very cool crowd over at one of my favorite stops on the tour, t-bones bar and grill, go have the pattie melt, and tell mike-t i sent you, he will probably just stare at you for about 4 seconds with that blank look, and then say, no shit

this friday,

whats up, just recovering from one of those weekends, no better way to do it than at turner pipe, 22 degrees, wind whipin, my feelings where hurtin, ass is wet from the forklift, and it aint even 6:15am

but man was it fun friday and saturday, friday we jammed with mfn, and had us a blast, always fun playing with those guys, wish we could do it more often, jj on the bass is a true pro, wesely joe is the STYLE, adam...who doesnt love adam, the drunker the better, and then there's merol, i remember back about 12 years ago when i met merol ray, i didnt play anything but i loved to listen, and merol would sometimes show up at the house i was living at ,(well i never payed rent there, but iwas there everyday and night, and everybody thought i lived there) and i would never let merol get away without breaking out his guitar,

saturday we rocked out in the honey grove vfw, one of the funnest gigs i've had in awhile, place was packed, with young people, it was the first time lp had ever darkened the doors of a vfw, that my friend, i thought was amazing, he's been around, high and low, near and far, drunk all over, coast to coast, head to toe, and he had never even walked into a vfw until saturday night, amazing...surely he forgot one night somewhere


tomorrow i'm heading to gainsville, gonna swap songs with zac jones, he's with the band level route, very cool band, i think zac is 21 or 22, i hope he dont slow me down any, i'm 31 now, i cant be doing that 21 year old stuff,

friday night i'm going to the rail in commerce, gonna swap songs with tracy nicole, this was a last minute gig my boys from www.overdriveentertainment.com (check out their new site) hooked me up with, i'll scout the bar out real good cause me and the boys are gonna blow up in there next week,

then saturday night, back to one of my favorite hang outs, t-bones bar and grill, always a blast with my friend mike t, (blast and hangover mean the samething)

did not realize I haven't blogged this year, until just now, when I seen my old one, it was last year, oh well I guess I been bloggin in my head, seems to work better

this year has started out really well for us, our good friends at www.overdriveentertainment.com are keeping us busy, playing lots of new venues, the band is jive’n better, and jammin harder than ever, wayne and lane got some new gear, let's see if we can wear it out this year,

gonna be in big d tomorrow night, lakewood bar & grill, playing with those miles from nowhere boys, it's been awhile since we got to hang out with those guys, they been hangin out with bands like reckless kelly, I’m takin off work on Saturday, looks like its might be a late night,

Saturday, it's the vfw circuit, sweet little honey grove tx, last time I played a vfw, I was a solo act, playing for no guarantee, just tips, I cleared $500.00, so I like the vfw circuit, got me cowboy hat laid out, and a nice shirt that buttons up the front, all the way, top to bottom

talked to hooker today, he's been hung up in utah for a couple of weeks, be home Sunday, but I have not seen nor heard from the circus guy all year, matter of fact the last time I seen him he was real drunk, leaving my house with an empty guitar case, he thought his guitar was in it, but his guitar is still hangin on my wall, so if you see that old bandit in a bar, or on a tiger, or in a jail somewhere...have the boy give me a shout...you know, when he gets a chance
