it's almost over, it is for me, i am now relaxing in my music room, jammin to the south austin jug band, and home for the night and finished with all my stops, you know the going here to eat, then here, then over their...loved it all, but glad it's over

been sleeping in the van alot this week, we played adairs saloon thursday, alawys a blast and a burger, friday was a brand new gig for us in sherman, a bar called luke's
and a damn fine place i must add, we were the ginny pigs for (the folk rock) music that we play, they told us they usually have rock cover bands, must of dug us though, cause they rebooked us before we left, saturday we played dillions, seen some old friends that i only get to see once a year, got me a killer hangover out of the deal

but the greatest feeling of all, was this morning, watching abe taylor run back and forth from toy to toy, he couldnt decide which one he wanted to play with, smile took up his whole face, mine too

the sad part is, i go back to work tomorrow

i played the koyn xmas party last night, good folks that spin my tunes, fed me and gave me free brew, if it was a saturday i could have hurt'em on that brew part, but instead i was very well behaved for a tuesday night, the level route gang also played, and those dudes have a very cool thing going on, sounds great, and they took all my spare 9v batteries, even thier drummer, i dont know what that'a about, maybe he holds it to his tounge to go to sleep or something....i didnt ask

talked to my buddy shad blair tonight, he was on his way to play cheatam street warehouse in new braunfels, it's one of the best open mics in the state, and it's every wed. night, i told shad sometime in febuary or march me and the circus guy will come down and play one with him, the circus guy don't know this yet, but i'm sure he's down with it

last night was a blast, i opened for mcclure over at t-bones, always good to see mac, never fails, sometime in the first 30 seconds of our conversation he always asks me how my boy is doing, i think thats cool..then i sat and got drunk with the levelrout boys

best move i've made in a while was teaming up with overdrive entertainment, tip and fuzzy are go getters, thank you guys, for the gigs, and keep'em coming while i'm still breathing

the hunt is over, we landed us a hot rod,

rod liechti, to be exact,

he's been fronting a hot little 3pc called rockin horse the last 5 years, and now he's joined up with the mob, and we are very happy to have him on board, and we hope he can stay a few years or so
