getting ready for another week, in the hot sun,

my friend craig burns called me twice today, he was in gruene hall, jammin to joe ely the first time, the second time he was jammin to ray wylie...he just called to rub it in my face

played the hangout last night, my buddy chad farris came over and played with us, the boys had it going on, pruett played the drums, that really blew me away, and he don't know how to change a guitar string, that blew me away too...chek'em out www.farris.com they will be with us next friday at t-bones as well,

as far as the gig goes, as soon as i walk in the door, i'm handed a bottle of jeager, lane stayed sober, and i did not, that was the deal we made, thanks for the safe ride home lp, i hope i was good conversation for you,

eric stayed on floor level, and wayne broke two more drum sticks, good to see my
friends anna and carrie, and thanks for bringing out some folks, anna even sang screamin with me, she nailed it,

friday night we played in grapevine, i cant remember if i blogged about this one or not, but anyway, it was good to see jake, and i met some good folks that came out to hear us, thank you for comeing

here latley around my house,
the phones always ringing,
or someone's always screaming,

so believe it or not, riding on the lawn mower is a form of relaxation, it wont be a month from now, but right now, or atleast today it was, it's even a small bit of peace for abe taylor, he's riding in my lap for about 20 minutes, and it's loud, bumpy, and grass flying everywhere, i look down at abe, and he's sound asleep,

gasin up charles tomorrow, and headin back to grapevine for a love war date, hooker's in, so it ought to be a fun one, saturday night, it's the hangout in commerce, always a fun gig,

good run this past weekend, 3 gigs in 2 days, lots of time with the boys, piled up in charles,

friday was our monthly dillions gig, and a hangover as usuall, only this time, i had no time, to sleep it off, for we had to play in whitesboro at 3 on saturday, at randy's second anual bash, and it was cooler than last year, which is the way you want these small partys to be, if they are planned on being had every year, you want it to gradually get bigger and bigger, last year we closed it down, took stage about 11, it was lanes 1st weekend with us, and his 3rd gig with us, we ran out of beer, so i asked over the pa if some one could spare us a brew or two, well some dude brings a trash bag to the stage with about a case of 5 or 6 different kind of beers in it...that kinda of laid back, good people crowd, not to mention hardcore music fans.....well this year, like i said we played at 3 in the afternoon, and the crowd was bigger than last year, i sold every cd i brought, which was good...except we had another gig to go to, my fault for not being prepared,

chilli rick and his crew were there, and they took me and the boys back to there pad for some grub, before we headed up to oklahoma,

now on to ok

i thought the gig was in valliant, i don't know exactly where i got that bogus information, but i'm sure i didn't just think it up, i mean somebody had to mention valliant somewhere in a conversation, any the how, the gig is in antlers, and now we are running a little late, good thing the bar is run by some more easy going laid back good folks,
we were oklahoma gigin

just talked to mcclure, and the project has been mastered, and it's on the way to me, via us mail, so now i must complete the art work,

spent the afternoon picking up trash, 2nd time in as many months...thank you mother nature, with your high winds and fat ass

hey the mavs won, and destroyed our crowd at adairs, but somehow i still had a goodtime, thank you crissy, and the couple of hard core dancers, the one guy says, "you guys are an awesome dance band" so ha ha, to all those people at the elks lodge who get up and leave when we start playing, because i do believe if you want to dance, then you could dance...or maybe you should just learn how to dance

and it was damn good to see my old buddy and one of the original members of the m.o.b. mr brock huggins, he's one of those dudes i always look forward to seeing, and i sure miss hanging out with, he seemed to always make me look a little cooler,

been on the phone this evening, hooking up gigs, went 5 for 5, so then i quit, pretty good night, most of the time i go 0 for 5

slept 3 hours monday night, and 2 last night, and i think the house is quiet now, that means the kid must be sleeping, and i think i'll try to do the same,

see ya friday at dillions

why does stackhouse go for the three,

made me slam down the recliner and go mow the yard,

we played a real cool party in farmersville yesterday, jamin on a flatbed trailer, met some good people, and had some good food

friday was the battle royal at the xwire, i'm not a big fan of the competing thing when it comes to music...because music is just someone's opinion, but man we had a goodtime at this one, it's alot better when your playing with some cool bands that you enjoy listening to and hanging with

we got waxed, congrats to mfn, and for those young cats in turning point, you got it going on, stay together and keep on keepin on,

this week is a busy one
tuesday we head to deep elum to play adairs
