say it aint so, bledsoe

he must be color blind,

finally got back down to waco this past weekend, to the lakeside tavern, and had us a fine time, hopefully got us a new venue to start working on, we had several folks in the crowd that new our stuff,

jack mcvey, sat in on drums with us, and done an excellent job, super cool old vet on the kit, i think he said he was 50 something, did a fine job, thank you jack

got to hang with the cool folks from www.radiofreetexas.org those girls have helped us out so much, last week we had 2 tunes in the top 50,

tallman - 18
the vet- 46

thank you carrie jo, karen, and cara, for all you do

casey kelly and his band played with us and were a very tough act to follow, hope to be doing some more shows with those cats, checkem out if you get a chance

now for the ride home,

well the plan is to stay focused, help each other out, and drive back home after the gig, because i had to play at 3 today in paris, well we get in the van and lp takes the fetal position, my wife is stretched out in the back, so i'm behind the wheel, but that's cool because i got mr. conversation himself riding shotgun, johne ballgame.....before we leave waco ballgame's got his mouth wide open, eyes glued shut, and head back against the seat, so i put in todd snider's new record, by the way is awesome, and play it over and over untill we get home at 6:40 this morning,

oh yea ballgame woke up in time to talk me in to a wrong exit,

played to day at the elks lodge in paris, a benifit for a friend of mine, it's good to get jam with all the local bands in town, we got some good ones

that reminds me, ballgame woke up and said this too, "texas is too big, to bad we're not in gigin in maine or some other small state all the time, but they might not have enough bars" i looked at john and said," yea"

and he closed his eyes again, but the dude can play a guitar like ringing a bell

see ya
